DESIGN PHILOSOPHY

The Design Behind BTI10

The BTI10 is designed for users who need a more capable thermal observation tool for demanding outdoor and low-visibility environments. Its design focuses on thermal target detection, practical field durability, and adaptable viewing control, combining a 384 × 288 thermal sensor, more than 1000 meters of detection range, multiple magnification levels, and an OLED HD display in a more compact helmet-compatible thermal setup.

KEY FEATURES

Key Features of BTI10

Built around thermal detection range, practical outdoor durability, and more adaptable observation control.

01

384 × 288 Thermal Detection

With a 384 × 288 thermal sensor and more than 1000 meters of detection range, BTI10 is built to help users detect heat signatures in low-visibility conditions where traditional viewing is limited.

02

OLED HD Viewing Experience

An OLED HD 1024 × 768 display provides a clearer thermal viewing experience, helping users observe targets with better visual control in the field.

03

Multiple Magnification and Color Palettes

With 1× / 2× / 4× / 8× magnification and four thermal palettes — Black Hot, White Hot, Red Hot, and Fusion — BTI10 gives users more flexibility across different observation conditions.

THERMAL VS DIGITAL

How BTI10 Is Different from Digital Night Vision

Both technologies help you see at night, but they create an image in very different ways.

01
BTI10 THERMAL IMAGING

Detects Heat Differences

The BTI10 detects temperature differences and displays heat signatures. It does not rely on visible light or an infrared illuminator in the same way as digital night vision.

Heat signatures Darkness & low contrast No IR illuminator required
VS
02
DIGITAL NIGHT VISION

Shows Visible Scene Detail

Digital night vision forms a visible scene using ambient light or infrared illumination, making it generally better for viewing surface detail, signs, paths, and surrounding objects.

Before You Choose

Detection ≠ Identification Conditions Matter Observation Focused

Thermal detection is not the same as recognition or identification. Image detail depends on the size and temperature of the subject, distance, weather, humidity, terrain, and the selected display palette. The BTI10 is designed for observation; always follow local laws and the safety requirements of the area where it is used.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Key details to know before choosing the BTI10 thermal imaging goggles.

Does BTI10 need an infrared illuminator?

No. BTI10 detects temperature differences and does not need an IR illuminator to display heat signatures.

Is BTI10 the same as digital night vision?

No. Thermal imaging shows heat contrast, while digital night vision forms a visible scene from ambient light or infrared illumination.

Does a published 1000m+ detection figure mean identification at that distance?

No. Detection means noticing that a qualifying heat source is present. Recognition and identification distances are shorter and depend on the subject and conditions.

Is a helmet included?

A helmet is not listed in the standard package. Review the current package list before ordering.
